About Faith Forward
Faith Forward is the organic evolution of more than thirty years of progressive LGBT-Affirming ministry. Pastor Charles Burnett-Morrow decided to focus on online ministry as the area in which he and Tommy now live proved not to be hospitable to our work, primarily because of hideous and hurtful treatment of LGBT people by Fundamentalist Evangelical churches. The hurt here in LGBT people runs deep and has created an enormous amount of angst and resentment. So, rather than focus on trying to establish a local brick-and-mortar church (which is costly and labor intensive), we decided to share all our Sunday Services (3pm CST), Wednesday Bible Studies (7pm CST) and Podcasts (Various times and days) with our Internet audience and online fellowship members via Facebook and YouTube. We have made our ministry an online fellowship which anyone can join and participate in, even if they belong to a local church. Many of our online members have been with us for many years. Many of these online members consider Faith Forward their church!
Faith Forward is a Progressive online ministry which welcomes and affirms ALL who wish to know and serve the Lord Jesus Christ in truth! Whether you are straight, gay, black, white, rich, poor, old or young; you will find a warm and sincere welcome at Faith Forward. We are not here to tear down but rather to build up. The very word "Gospel" means, "good news." At Faith Forward (Online Fellowship) we preach the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ for all, without exceptions or apologies. We have no "second class citizens" in our church. If you love the Lord and serve Him sincerely, you are welcome to not only attend and worship, but also to fully take part in our ministries! At Faith Forward we like to say; "Our hearts, our minds, and our arms are open!" Welcome!
